Our 18 year old grandson graduated from high school today!

Tis the season for graduations!  Our second eldest grandson is off to college this fall!
Don't you just love this modified gate-fold card I made for him?

I used his high school graduation invitation to inspire the color palette of my card for him.
Gorgeous Grape, Basic White, and Gold Foil.
The die-cut year is made with Playful Alphabet (retired) in Gorgeous Grape card stock and Gold Foil.
I used Baker's Twine Essential (155475) to create the tassel and wrapped it around a brad.

The card measurements are:
Gorgeous Grape - (base) 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" and scored at 2 3/4" at each end.
(cap) is 3" x 3" and you'll need at 2" x 3" piece scored in half to anchor the cap to the card.
Basic White - inside panel to stamp or write sentiment is 4" x 4"
(collar)  is 3" x 3" cut in diagonal half.  Using one triangle, cut it in half from the center vertex, placing each half on the front panels to create the collar.  Then I adhered strips of gold trim to finish it off.

Diorama Card

My second eldest grandson turned 18 on May 26.  But I had to wait to post this card I made for him!  He loves to go hunting with my husband, as do several of our other grandsons.

This card is created using  the Grassy Grove stamps (157836) and Grove dies (157844) to create this diorama card for my grandson. I used Old Olive, Pecan Pie, and  Wild Wheat (NEW 2023 Colors!) card stock for this card.  I also used Pecan Pie and Old Olive Inks.

The measurements for this card:

    The base is Old Olive 8" x 4 1/4" and scored at 1 1/14", 2 1/2", 5 1/2", and 6 3/4".
    The center section has Wild Wheat 2 7/8" x 4 1/8"
(You can also put Wild Wheat on the two outer panels so those pieces would be 1 1/8" x 4 1/8".  I didn't add this because my bridge piece for this card is practically the same height as the base card.)
Designer Series Paper is  two pieces of 1" x 4" and one piece of 2 3/4" x 4"
The bridge piece is created with the Grove die and is a piece of  Old Olive 5 1/2" x 3 5/8"
To stamp the trees and deer, use Basic White 3" x 4" scrap
The banner for the sentiment is 3/4" x 3" with a banner cut end.

What to do with left over Paper Pumpkin scraps?

I finally had some time after rearranging my craft room to make a few cards.  I was inspired by scraps I found in my scrap basket.  First, I used the Split Card dies (retired on May 1, 2023) on some retired Dainty Flowers Designer Series paper to create a background.  Then with some floral scraps from a favorite Paper Pumpkin Kit, I arranged the pieces to coordinate with the DSP.  The two sentiments are from the current stamp set, Chic Seasons.
