Pumpkins and Cats - And Halloween Treats! Thursday's Sip & Stamp (9-24-20)

Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkin Box

Blackberry Bliss Cardstock 3 3/4" x 9 1/2"; score along the long side at 1", 1 3/4", 5 1/4", and 6" and score along the short side at 3/4"and 3"
Burnish the score lines, and snip to the 3/4" score line on both sides.  Cut the 3/4" off the 1" and 3/4" section off the top.  Use the Detailed Trio Punch to trim the corners of the top, 1" segment.
Assemble the box.  
Pumpkin Pie Cardstock - 2 1/8" x 3 3/8" and about 5 1/2" x 3" for the pumpkin punch-outs.
Magic in this Night DSP - spider side 2" x 3 1/4"
Old Olive Cardstock - 1 1/4" x 3/4" and a small scrap for the leaf
Layer the Pumpkin Pie on the top front of the box.  
Then layer the Magic in this Night DSP on top of that.
Use the Pumpkin stamp from Harvest Hello to stamp three pumpkins in Momento Tuxedo Black Ink.
Use the Apple Builder Punch to cut out the three pumpkins and the stem from Early Espresso Cardstock.
Fold the pumpkins in half and glue the backsides of the halves together. (The one pumpkin will be glued to the half of two pumpkins and the two pumpkins outer halves are glued down onto the DSP.)
From scraps of Old Olive, punch the oak leaf from the Autumn Punch Pack.

Halloween Cats "Boo" Wrap for the Hostess Snoball

Pumpkin Pie Cardstock 3 1/2" x 11", score along the long side 4", 6", 10" and burnish the score lines.

Use the 1 7/8" smooth circle to die cut a circle centered in the bottom 4" panel.

Basic Black Cardstock 2" x 5" to punch out two cats; and  2 3/4" x 2 3/4" for the circle frame.

Using the Layering Circles and Basic Black Cardstock; 2 1/2" scalloped circle and 1 7/8" smooth edge circle.

Center the smaller circle in the larger circle to create the circle frame.

Adhere the circle frame around the opening in the bottom panel.

Place the two cats around the circle opening.

Pumpkin Pie DSP from the Regals DSP 3 1/2" x 1 1/2", score on short side at 3/4" 

Attach 3/4" DSP piece over the Pumpkin Pie 1" section and using the Detailed Trio Punch, trim the edges with the rounded corner.

You can use a 5/8" piece of Velcro to adhere the inside of the top flap to the top edge, or just allow the top of the cat to tuck in the flap.

• Garden Green 5 ½” x 4 ¼” & and a 2 ½” X 4” piece to die-cut the large Stitched So Sweetly Label
• Soft Seafoam 7 ½” x 4 1/8”, scored at 2 ½” x 5”, then score a diagonal line from the outside left top to the first inside score line; repeat from the top second inside score line to the bottom outside right corner.
• DSP - two pieces of the same reversible paper 4” x 2 ¼” then cut each diagonally from top left to bottom right
• DSP one additional piece (usually the backside of the first DSP piece) cut at 4” x 2 ¼” to be placed on the outside of thee folded card, cut diagonally from top right to bottom left

Gather Together Baby Wipe Technique Card

• Cherry Cobbler 4 ¼” x 11”, scored at 5 ½”; also scraps for embossed die-cut leaf
• Mango Melody 5 14/” x 4”, scraps for embossed die-cut leaf
• Garden Green DSP 1” x 5 ½”, use Banner punch to shorten from 5 ½”; also scraps for embossed die-cut leaf
• Soft Suede 4" x 3", embossed with Pinewood Planks
• Very Vanilla 5 ¼” x 4 for inside of card; and another one to stamp leaves and die-cut them, as well as to stamp the sentiment and trim as a rectangle with a banner ending
• Spread a folded Baby Wipe onto silicon mat or large acrylic block; using the re-inkers, spread several drops of each color, allowing them to bleed into each other.  This will be your ink pad for the large maple leaves.

Accordion Step Card Freezin' Fun and Snow Wonder Card - Simply Stampin' on Saturday (9-12-20)

Freezin' Fun Accordion Step Card

Highland Heather - 10.5" x 5.5", scored at 1.5", 3", 4.5", 6", 7.5" and 9".  Fold and burnish starting with a "mountain" fold and then alternating to "valley" fold and continue to the end.

Highland Heather -  three pieces 1.75" x 4"

Feels Like Frost DSP 4.5" x 3.75", then cut in a sequence of the scene at 1.5" and 3"; adhere these strips onto the strips of Highland Heather and keep in the sequence of the scene.

Feels Like Frost DSP 5.25" x 1.25" for the top panel 

Whisper White 4.25" x 5.5 - From that, cut 1" x 4.25" for the sentiment on top panel; use the remaining piece to stamp and die-cut the characters (skiing, snowboarding, and sledding)

I used the small tree and sentiment for the top WW layer and Mint Macaron Blends to color the tree.

The rabbit skiing was colored with Gray Granite, Purple Posey, and Cinnamon Cider.  The penguin is colored with Dark Smoky Slate, Petal Pink, Mango Melody, and Cinnamon Cider.  The raccoon is colored with Crumb Cake, Highland Heather, and Cinnamon Cider.  I used Craft White Ink Pad for the snowflakes and sentiments on the inside of the accordion card.

As shown in the photo below, the DSP/Character panels are stairstep starting on the left side on the second fold (valley fold) skipping a fold, then centering the next panel along the next valley fold, and again skipping the mountain fold, and adhering the final panel along the last fold.  I kept the panels in the sequence of the photo scene.  Then after each character has been colored, I adhered one to each panel using a "bobble" I had purchased from Amazon.  Be careful when adhering that you don't place the character too high up, interfering with the fold.  With White Craft ink, I added snowflakes and sentiments in the open spaces next to the panels.  To secure the card once you close the accordion fold, I wrapped a piece of the Purple Posey striped ribbon from Playing with Patterns ribbon combo around the top.

Snow Wonder with Feels Like Frost DSP

Night of Navy, 4.25" x 11", scored at 5.5"

Feels Like Frost DSP 4" x 5.25"

Whisper White (4" x 3") for the snowman; stamp, color with watercolor pencils, blender pen, Wink of Stella, and then fussy cut-out. 

I used the Metallic Mesh ribbon around the DSP before adhering it to the front of the card.

I stamped the sentiment and snowflakes with Versamark and silver embossing powder.

Adhere the snowman using Stampin' Dimensionals over the mesh ribbon.

Awesome at Any Age Birthday Card

Crushed Curry 4 1/4" X 11", scored at 5 1/2"

Artistry Blooms DSP (2 different coordinating sheets); cut one piece 1 1/2" x 5"   and the second one at 2 1/4" x 5".  Cut both pieces at 3" to flip the DSP and offset with the side panel.

Birthday Wishes with Forever Fern Pocket Card

Old Olive 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”

Whisper White 5 ¼” x 4 and 4 ¼” x 3” for the die-cut stitched scalloped rectangle. 

Whisper White strip 3" x 1/2"

Soft Seafoam 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" for large right angle triangle

Pretty Peacock  3 1/2" x 3 1/2" for large right angle triangle

Old Olive 3" x 3" for the two stamped leaves to die-cut

Forever Greenery DSP 5 1/4" x 4", mark the top right at 5/8" from the edge and 1 7/8" from the bottom of the left side.  

Sore a diagonal line from the 5/8" mark to the 1 7/8" mark and fold that panel back.  Layer the two right triangles under the folded piece and adhere.

Use Pretty Peacock ink to stamp the large leaves on the Old Olive and small leaves on the small WW cardstock.  Also, stamp the sentiment onto the 1/2" strip.  I used the trio punch to accent the top left corner of the WW card and the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch to accent the sentiment strip.
