Have a Hoot - Embossing Paste Card

 

• Cut the the base card in Soft Suede cardstock to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”, and the top layer in Misty Moonlight at 4” x 5 ¼”.  The sentiment tag is from Crumb Cake, 3” x ¾”, and is layered onto a Soft Suede piece that is 3 ½” x 1”.

•  Mix approximately 1 tbsp. of Stampin’ Up’s Embossing Paste with 6 drops of Early Espresso.         Mix on top of the Silicone mat until you get the shade of tree trunk you prefer.

• Stamp the three “fall” owls in Momento Black Ink onto Whisper White cardstock:  owl hiding face, owl with spider, and owl with pumpkin from the Have a Hoot stamp set.  Using Blends, color in the owls and accessories.

• Use the Peek A Hoot Dies to cut out the shaded owls and black cardstock spider web.

• Gently spread a thin layer of uninked white embossing paste over the spider web to give it a “webby” effect.  Set the web aside to dry.
